Applications and types of viscometers
Viscometer Applications:
??
Petrochemicals: Sofraser viscometers measure everything from light oils to bitumen.
??
Chemical industry: provide a wide range of viscosity measurement for polymer polymerization, especially for systems with low viscosity.??
??
Coatings and Printing: Fast and stable viscosity measurement during coating and printing.??
Food and Beverage: Customize smaller size sensors to prevent contamination.??
Organic chemistry: Small sensors can be assembled anywhere without major modifications.??
??
Energy and Environment: Real-time, permanent, maintenance-free measurements.
Types of viscometers:
(1) Rotational viscometer: Brookfield viscometer and NDJ series in domestic standards. There is also a Brabender viscometer that is most commonly used to continuously track viscosity changes during starch gelatinization. It is said that the same principle is used, but I have not used it. dare not comment.
??
(2) Capillary type: Ubbelohde, Pinnacle, Finn, countercurrent and other forms,
(3) Cup type: En's Viscometer, Ford Cup in the United States, Zahn Cup in Japan and Tu-4 Cup in my country.
??
(4) Ball drop type.??
(5) Others: One can measure the viscosity of glass or ceramic droplets melted in a heating furnace, and can perform viscosity, surface tension and contact angle measurements, and the temperature range is from room temperature to 1000 ℃ or 2100 ℃.
